Our review
With a great flash style that instantly 'catch the eye' comes The Galactic Melody Catcher, designed by DevilishGames and ported to iPhone by Lucera Projects.
On TGMC you will get the role of a sonorico from sonoro planet, which have silent his home cause his strong appetite. Now they will have to travel to distant planets in order to get feeding.
Your goal is feed your sonorico with all tunes of a planet before times up. To achieve this, you will have to roll for eating pink dots; each time you eat one, it will produce a different note, which with the correct rhythm and order will produce a familiar tune.
When you finish to eat all tunes of a planet, you must move your sonorico to the spaceship in order to travel to the next planet.
But the way for feeding will not be as easy as you can imagine, because you will find some obstacles as red dots which make to bounce your sonorico away; so in order to avoid, you must to jump over or pass under them.
In the latter levels, things will go harder yet, because you will travel to planets with limited visibility or with moving red dots, which it makes harder to avoid.
For controlling your sonorico, you can choose between 2 different control types, tapping device or tilt sensor for horizontal moves, so you can choose your favorite control style.
The game is a bit short because has only 25 levels, and can be accomplished in around 1 hour or so.
The Galactic Melody Catcher is available via iTunes and is compatible with iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. Requires iOS 2.2.1 or later and it's cost only 0.99$.
